Getting Ready for a Respray

The last two weekends and another to come (once lockdown passes once again) were spent putting the suspension and wheels back onto the car. This is so it can be a rolling rig to send for a full body respray (both inside and out). This was a bunch of work that also included removing all the remaining windows and interior trim, putting the K-frames back in, reattaching the suspension and wheels. Just the rear K-frame to reattach and wheels to go.

And as always with these projects more bits were found that need to be replaced.

Given this is a homage to 'Baby' the colour scheme is pretty self explanatory: gloss black on the outside and inside. However I am adding a nod to the two-tone Mini Cooper colour schemes and having a white roof. The overall image will look great. Hopefully in the next few months I will have a bunch of new photos of Baby in her new paint job.
